I founded Langer Co-op Consultancy to bring together decades of entrepreneurial and legal experience in the cooperative sector and to help you thrive as a community and cooperative in a competitive world.
My team and our partners include experts from the Galilee’s thriving cooperatives in community building and the agricultural sector, as well as professionals in cooperative development, governance, and social housing and real estate.
The Langer Co-op team is driven by a genuine dedication to strengthening cooperative statutes and governance, improving member relations and trust, enhancing financial performance, and ensuring that every initiative reflects the core values of trust, sustainability, resilience, and shared prosperity and wellbeing.
The work is grounded not only in practice but also in research. A recent article I published in Communities Magazine examines how digital communication affects trust, governance, and happiness in cooperative life. It also presents the key pillars that support wellbeing and resilience in a community — foundations that help members feel secure, connected, and empowered.

Growing Together in Agriculture
We are farmers and as such we maintain first ties to our local leading partners and neighbours in the Galilee Avocado industry, including Galilee Export, Eshet Eilon, Rahan, and Green Fingers.
We have experience in agricultural education, where students from Tanzania, the Philippines, and more come to the Western Galilee to study and learn, bringing home our social and traditional insights for well-being and financial prosperity.
Our team can help you grow healthier crops, collaborate with your neighbours, foster a sense of peace and love for your land and environment for generations to come, and export your produce in an efficient and profitable manner.
In agriculture, our experience includes planning, growing, and selling avocados internationally, where cooperative methods developed in the Galilee have become a global success story, combining environmental responsibility with outstanding productivity and quality per acre.
Our fruit yield per acre is one of the highest worldwide, and we believe it all starts with joining forces and the commitment of all employees at all levels to achieving success.
Shaping Policy for Stronger Cooperatives
Our team also offers to design and develop your cooperative legislative and public policy framework, creating a fertile ground for resilience and success to come.
We assist in drafting charters, establishing internal decision-making and organizational and social structures within the cooperative, and collaborating with government and municipality offices to establish a solid legislative foundation at the provincial and national levels.
A cooperative benefits both society and the state by strengthening solidarity and trust, yet it may sometimes be perceived as a challenge to the existing order. Through thoughtful legislation and governance design, we help build the desired trust and strong ties among the cooperative members themselves, between members and management, as well as between the cooperative and the state.

Hestia Cooperative IKE, our emerging Greek-based company (in formation), is dedicated to developing community-focused housing in Athens. Through Hestia, we aim to show how real estate, when guided by trust, partnership, and purpose, can support resilient neighbourhoods and expand access to wellbeing.
